Soccer!

Ryan plays on a competitive soccer team now. It has been really fun to have the season go longer than just the spring rec league. He's a pretty good little player! (It looks like he and that kid are jammin' out in that last picture!) One of my goals for the season is to get some pictures of the insane parents. They are seriously out of control.

Emily and her friend Amy had fun in the water while I was doing the photo shoot. But the water was very cold!

These are my friend Georgia's daughters. I took the pictures yesterday at Mack Park in Smithfield. I thought they turned out pretty cute! (They look darker here than they are in real life.)

A very productive morning...

What a great morning - I worked, exercised, and canned peaches all before the kids left for school. Phew.

The kids must be in school...

My kids must be back in school because I've got the re-decorating bug really bad! Today it was the bathroom, yesterday it was Ryan's room, the day before that it was our bedroom. Emily helped me when she got home from school. She's actually very helpfulf - very task oriented. I really want to de-junk and get rid of all the crap that seems to build up when our backs are turned. I feel like I'm in the 'nesting' state and I'm not even pregnant! Now if I could just find some accessories....

We were having a hard time finding a non-full sun spot in the yard this family wanted their shots done in, so I reconstructed this side of the house! Ok, so I need a lot more practice, especially in brick laying and shrub reconstruction.
