Ryan was awarded the "President's Award for Academic Achievement" at his 5th grade awards ceremony this week. We are super proud of him. He is such a good kid and works so hard in school - it's fun to see him get a little recognition! He had a really good teacher this year and it's sad to think that he's leaving elementary school and venturing into the scary middle school world.
The award is signed by President Bush - so Ryan's friend tried to get him to sell it to him so he could sell the "autograph" on Ebay. Very funny.

I didn't know his teacher was Liz Olsen. She is in my ward. She is Alec's nursery teacher! Small world.
Angie, you snuck a bunch of blogging in since last time I checked it. So many fun pictures. My favorite is that picture of Ryan holding up his science fair ribbon. Classic Ryan smile. Great job on the Baxters photos. You go girl!
